A Message from Principal Mary Sepler, June 15th, 2017

Dear Families,

I’d like to start with a big shout out to all the parents who planned and supported our Lowell Field Day yesterday. Playing the games with the kids was a blast and the day ended happily with donated ice cream from Haggen.  It was a really fun way to celebrate our school community.

There is a huge pile of clothing in our lost and found in the breezeway section of school. Please make sure you take a look tomorrow if you are missing something, or encourage your child to look through it before school is ended for the year.  All items will be donated next week.

5th grade graduation will be held at our 9AM assembly tomorrow morning.  We’ll celebrate our fifth grade class and a wonderful year of learning.  The assembly will be followed by an all-school recess.  Although all parents are welcome to attend, we ask that fifth grade parents be given priority seating if possible.  Thanks so much!

A reminder that tomorrow is the last day of school for the year and that all students will be dismissed at 1:15PM.

Our school garden still needs volunteers to help care for it for a week at a time over the summer. We have lots of empty slots at the Sign-Up Genius link below if you are keen to lend a hand . . .

Our PTA is also searching for someone to take on the amazingly fun and highly rewarding role of PTA treasurer.  We promise you’ll have a team around you if you are willing to help us out for next year.  If you would consider, please email Silje Watson at

Make sure you ask your child to see the 2016-17 Memory Book that is coming home this week. It’s got some wonderful photographs, narratives and memories that will last a lifetime for our kids.

Sending Our Best,
