A Message from Principal Sarah Walker Sept. 13th, 2021

Happy Monday Lowell Labs!

This week at Lowell we will continue to build our classroom communities.

Our teachers will focus their professional development time this week on helping students with social and emotional learing (SEL) including identifying feelings, using tools to help calm down when we are upset and engaging in problem solving.  At Lowell, we use Caring Schools Community as our curriculum for social and emotional learning.  Using this curriculum, we focus on building relationships, calm classroom environments and school-wide community.

Thanks for sharing your children with us!

Warmly,

Sarah Walker

Wielding safe foam Swasher swords, the children experience the excitement and confidence that comes from banding together to defend their village, solve a perplexing mystery, or negotiate a peace treaty.
